We recognize that privacy is a fundamental component of professional business relationships. As a commercial flooring contractor serving Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area ("GTA"), and surrounding regions, we understand the importance of safeguarding information with the same level of care, precision, and professionalism that we apply to every commercial project we undertake.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, protect, retain, and otherwise process personal information obtained through our public website, quote request forms, contact forms, Contractor Portal, Employee Portal, Administrative Portal, CRM systems, email and telephone communications, business development activities, commercial project coordination, and future mobile applications or online services.
This Privacy Policy applies whenever you access, browse, register for, communicate with, or otherwise interact with Miles High Construction through any digital platform or service operated by us.

While certain business information may not constitute "Personal Information" under applicable privacy legislation, we nevertheless strive to protect confidential commercial information using reasonable safeguards.
7. Acceptance of This Privacy Policy

Project documentation submitted to us is used exclusively for legitimate business purposes associated with evaluating or performing requested work. Our CRM is designed to improve customer service and operational organization rather than to engage in intrusive profiling.
17. Lawful Basis for Processing
Where applicable, Miles High Construction processes personal information on one or more of the following lawful grounds: your consent; performance of a contract or requested service; compliance with legal obligations; protection of legitimate business interests; or other lawful grounds recognized by applicable legislation. Where consent is relied upon, you may withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual limitations.

The use of third-party providers does not transfer ownership of your personal information.
21. International Data Transfers
Although Miles High Construction operates primarily in Canada, certain service providers may process or store information in jurisdictions outside Canada. As a result, personal information may become subject to the laws of foreign jurisdictions. Appropriate contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards will be implemented where reasonably practicable. If you choose to subscribe to newsletters, updates, or promotional communications in the future, we may use your contact information to provide company news, service updates, industry insights, educational content, event announcements, and promotional materials — only with appropriate consent where required by law. You may unsubscribe at any time. Transactional communications relating to existing projects, accounts, or contractual relationships are not considered marketing communications.
24. Automated Decision-Making
Miles High Construction does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing of personal information. While we may use software tools to assist with organizing information, managing workflows, tracking project status, and generating analytics, all material business decisions remain subject to meaningful human oversight.
25. Business Transactions
In the event of a proposed or completed business transaction (merger, acquisition, financing, corporate restructuring, sale of assets, or similar), personal information may be disclosed to prospective purchasers, investors, lenders, or professional advisors as reasonably necessary. Any such disclosure will be subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations and applicable legal requirements.

While we take reasonable precautions, no electronic transmission, storage system, or internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
27. Administrative Safeguards
We establish privacy and security responsibilities within the organization, limit employee and contractor access to information based on business requirements, provide appropriate guidance regarding confidentiality obligations, review information-handling practices periodically, evaluate third-party service providers before use, and maintain appropriate internal procedures for handling confidential information.

Miles High Construction will never request passwords through unsolicited communications.
30. Role-Based Access Controls
Miles High Construction uses access control principles to ensure that individuals only access information necessary to perform their authorized responsibilities. Access levels vary depending on role (administrators, employees, contractors, project managers, business partners, authorized representatives). Access permissions may be modified, suspended, or removed when employment or contractor relationships end, project responsibilities change, security concerns arise, or access is no longer required.
